No Habs?No Leafs?
No problem.
Tonight, instead of Hockey Night in Canada, tune in to CTV. A W-FIVE investigation into the murders of Dominic and Anunziata Ianiero will shed new light on who may be responsible for the killings.
This, you will not want to miss.
Not only does it promise us a candid view of the Mexican police report that makes a prime suspect out of the Cancun hotel employee who disappeared mysteriously from work last year after the couple was slain in their room, but tonight’s episode will expose the conflicting views of Bello Melchor Rodriguez y Carillo, the attorney general for the state of Quintana Roo.
According to Rodriguez, the missing hotel worker is not a suspect. He’s not even looking for him. Hell, he doesn’t even care where he is.
Rodriguez still clings to the theory that Thunder Bay gals Cheryl Everall and Kimberly Kim are professional “assassins”, and are responsible for the grisly murders.
Rodriguez also claims traces of Dominic's and Nancy's blood were found in the room where Kimberly Kim and Cheryl Everall were staying.Of course, I need not remind you of how vehemently the Thunder Bay gals do protest! They have an ongoing campaign to have their names cleared for good. What's more, they have been star features on my blog for over a year, having acquired a bit of celebrity over the implication that they may have been involved in, or at least have information about, the double homicide.
"For us, they remain the principal suspects," he told W-Five through a translator.
Another Rodriguez claim is that DNA from a hair in Nancy Ianiero's hand did not match a DNA sample taken from Delgado's mother. Yet another claim by Rodriguez is that the missing guard didn't have the expertise to carry out the slayings.
The police report makes no mention of blood anywhere near Kim and Everall's room, according to W-Five.

So, will a group of Canadian journalists finally crack the case that two international police forces have not been able to solve?
We’ll have to wait and see.

After watching the W5 special as well as reading all of related articles since the crime, I have come to several conclusions regarding how the crime must have transpired. Unfortunately, I've seen the crime scene photos that were published in a local Mexican newspaper, and I was in utter shock. They're beyond gruesome and its disgrace how anybody can make an already extremely difficult situation even worse. Shockingly, the photos are still on the newspapers website and anybody can access them.
* Given that the door was last opened @ 11:15pm with the use of the security pass, the killer must have been either hiding in the room or on the balcony when the couple arrived from Captain Morgan's, or he must have visited them sometime during the night and the couple let him in. Both scenarios do not require the pass to be used to open the door to the room. Considering the fact that the couple was undressed and ready to go to bed, the murderer probably unexpectedly knocked on the door and invited himself in to massage Mr. Ianiero's foot.
* Assuming that he was hiding in the room before they got back @ 11:15pm, I highly doubt that he searched through their luggage before he committed the murders because if the couple would have noticed that some revaged through their belongings, I am sure that they're first instinct would have been to call security or other members of the family. When they got back, they must not have noticed anything wrong wit hthe room, changed for bedtime, and while Mr. Iamiero was either taking a bath or preparing to massage his ailing foot in a hot tub of water, the killer emerged and killed them individually. Since it was pretty quite and no one heard anything (no screams or shouting), I doubt that Mr. or Mrs. Ianiero was aware of the killer's presence or that one of them got killed first. After the murders, the killer got the opportuntiy to revage through their belongings for money or valuables. Also, please not that bed was still made and they were not sleeping in their bed at the time of the crime. This means that they must have been murdered before they went to sleep, hence that is why the Mexican police suspected that they got murdered between 12AM & 3AM.
* On the other hand, it is also possible that the couple were getting ready to go to bed when the secuirty guarded decided to visit them once again, like he did the previous night. Please note that the beds were still made therefore they were not sleeping yet, but the couple were already undressed and ready to go to bed shortlyafter. I highly doubt that it was difficult for the guard to invite himself since Mr. Ianiero would have loved to get another foot massage, especially since he was looking for him all afternoon. While Mr. Ianiero was preparing a hot bath to either bath his ailing foot, the killer either secretly killed Mrs. Ianiero and then proceeded towards her husband, or vice versa. Either way, I'm sure neither one knew that the other was killed. I am sure the reason why the guard slit their throats was so that it was done quietly without the other person knwoing what was actually transpiring, and so that neither one would make noise or scream for help.
